Right in the middle of the beautiful province of Dalecarlia (Dalarna) by Lake Siljan. Non-regulated airspace and good visibility! A popular spot to visit for pilots from Denmark, Germany and Austria (e.g. the World Championship gliding team). 40 kms from Borlänge where the 1993 Gliding World Championships were held. The air space where Sweden's first 1,000 km flight was achieved (Frenchman, 1993).

A friendly club with a cozy log built clubhouse, equipped with complete kitchen facilities, a club room with an open fireplace, showers, toilets and lodging facilities.

There are cabins for rent within 3 km and family camping and a lake beach within 3 km
