The Market
During the last decades the tourist trade has constantly grown. Since long ago the Siljan region has worked as a metropolis for tourism and therefore has carried a natural flow of tourists, summertime as well as in wintertime. Aviation and airplanes always allured man and in Siljan AirPark you may experience aviation in a way that suits your family and with the utmost consideration for safety and environment.

Visitors
The following categories of visitors are mainly found:
1. Tourists. Foremost families visiting the Siljan region not primarily to visit SFC but who plan to spend half a day or an entire day during their vacation in the region. They are staying somewhere at the Siljan. Some of them may take a summer flight training course and maybe even a glider license or a PPL.
2.   The local people in Dalarna living max one hour’s car or bus-/train ride away from Siljan AirPark. Families or individuals spending a day at SFC and Biggles’ Café, eating lunch and watching airplanes
3. Visitors especially interested in aviation. Could come from all five Nordic countries and to a certain extent even from the Baltics, and Europe. Travel to Siljan primarily to see Siljan AirPark. Will stay for one day or more, preferably close to Siljan AirPark. Will visit other destinations around Siljan as well. Out of this target group some will choose to stay at Siljan AirPark during a few weeks for flight training and achieving a license.
